I'm Katlin Burley. Psychology major (B.S. track). I was born in Baltimore. I have a twin sister (Sammie- 18), Cortney (20) and two older half sisters (Kristin -24 and Heather- 27). Parents are divorced. I live with my friend and her family. I've been through hell and back in my life which I think helps to define who I am now.
My best friends from home all attend different colleges, which makes us closer. Friends + Family = FOUNDATION. I'm a sporty/outdoors-y kind of girl. I enjoy new experiences and welcome life and all it has to offer. I'm still discovering who I am, and I'm pretty sure I won't know the final product for a while...which, at the moment, is alright by me.
I'd like to ask as to why you don't live with one of your parents, but I believe that it might be a tad bit too personal. My parents are divorced too, I just never talk to my father.

I'm a Psychology major too. I think it's really cool you get to live with your friend. It must have brought you guys a lot closer.
ReplyDeleteThere are lots of Psych majors in this class. I'm one as well. It's pretty awesome that you have stayed close with your friends despite going to different colleges. A lot of people find it hard to keep in touch.
ReplyDeleteWell... I don't mind answering why I don't live with my parents. My dad has alcohol addiction issues and my mom is kinda off doing her own thing I guess (that's the least personal I can get, but I'll explain more in time haha). And I've always love psychology. My senior year AP psych teacher definately inspired me. I think I want to be a psychologist in a prison or a child psychologist..I don't know how to choose. There are so many options haha. But I figure I'll find my niche at some point.

ReplyDeleteI know what its like to almost know who you are but the best thing you can do is to find out that thing you love to do and just do that. It will make you happy and love life.
